FOUR TYPES OF COMPUTERS, SUPER COMPUTERS, MAINFRAME COMPUTERS, MINI COMPUTERS AND MICRO COMPUTERS.
Super Computers are the most powerful type of computers this machine are special high capacity computer used by very large organisation IBM blue green is one of the fastest computer in the world.
Mainframe Computers occupy specially wired, air conditioned rooms. Although not nearly as powerful as super computers, mainframe computers are capable of great processing speed and data storage. For example insurance company use mainframe to process information but million of policyholders.

Mini Computers, also known as mid range computer are refrigerator size machines medium size companies are department of large companies typically use them for specific purpose for example production departments used mini computers to monitor certain manufacturing process and assembly line operations.
Micro Computer are the least powerful yet the most widely used and fastest growing type of computer. There are four type of mini computers desktop, notebook, tablet PC, and handheld computers. Desktop computers are small enough to fit on top of aur alongside a desk yet are too big to carry around. Notebook computers, also known as laptop computer, are portable, lightweight, and feet into most briefcase. A tablet PC is a type of notebook computer that accept your handwriting this input is digital ad and converted to standard text that can be e for other processed by program such as word processor. Handled computers are the smallest and are designed to fit into the palm of one hand.
This system contain an entire computer system including the electronic component secondary storage add input and output device. Personal digital assistant (PDAs) and smartphones are the most widely used and computers.

Micro Computer Hardware
hardware for a microcomputer system consists of a variety of different device. Typical desktop system. this physical equipment falls into 4 Basa category system unit, input / output, secondary storage, and communication. because we discuss hardware in detail later in this book, here we will present just a quick overview of the four basic categories.
System Unit: the system unit is a container that houses most of the electronic components that make up a computer system. Two important comp components of the system unit are the microprocessor and memory.
The microprocessor controls and manipulate data to produce information. memory is a holding area for data, instruction, and information. One type random Access memory (RAM) holds the program and data that is currently being processed. This type of memory is sometimes referred to as temporary storage because its contain will typically be lost if the electrical power to the computer is disturbed.

Input/Output: input device translate data and program that human can understand into form of that the computer can process. The most common input device are the keyboard, and the mouse. Output device translate the processed information from the computer into a from that human can understand. The most common output device monitor and printers.
Secondary storage: unlike memory, secondary storage old data and programs even after electrical power to the computer system has been. the most important kind of secondary media hard disk solid state storage, and optical disks. Hard disks are typically used to store program and very large data files. Using result metal leak platter and read/write heads that move across the platters, data and information is stored using magnetic charge of the disc surface. in contrast solid state storage does not have any movie parts, is more reliable and require less power. It save data and information electronically similar to RAM expect that it is not volatile. two types of Flash memory card that are widely used in portable device and USB drive that are widely used compact storage medium for transporting and data information between computer and a variety of speciality device. Optical disc used letter technology and have the grates capacity three type of optical disks are compact, disc (CDs), digital versatile (or video) dics (DVD),and high-defination (hi def) discs.

Communication: at one time, it was fun, for a microcomputer system to communicate with other computer systems. now using communication device, a micro computer can communicate with other computer system located as near as the next office for as for a way as always around the world using the internet. the most widely used communication device is a modem, which is modified telephone communication into a form that can be processed by a computer not a mosque modified computer output into a form that can be trans emitted across standard telephone lines.
